Feliz Navidad from Bolivia
What a great week this has been! This week was the cumpliaños de Alex (Alex's birthday). Alex was the one that threw me a party for my birthday. I bought him a cake, and for our English class we sang happy birthday to him in English. There is a tradition between the missionaries that when it is your birthday, you get cake smashed. After you blow out your candles they take them out and smash you face in the cake. Luckily, this didn't happen to me haha!!! But we did it for Alex. Pictures below. Christmas is such an amazing time when were can think of nuestro (our) Salvador Jesucristo. "Ha nacio un Salvador" (has been born a Savior). This week I have seen the hand of the Lord mucho. We had our missionary choir performance. It was the most heavily planned and attended activity our stake has ever had here. We started the meeting and no one, I mean NO ONE was there. Haha I wish I had a picture. Slowly throughout the meeting people trickled in, and within the last ten minutes, the whole of the building was filled. Haha We ended up singing all the songs again after the meeting was over because no one was there to hear them. Haha. The stake president loved it so much that we are singing at a convention for all the police officers in Cochabamba tomorrow. Santa came and visited the missionaries. I love my mission president and his wife so much haha. Feliz Navidad! Te quiero mucho!!!
