Inka Chaka
Well this week was hard, but that means I’m doing my job. I love the feeling of exhaustion every night as my head hits the pillow. Sleeping is a sacred time for me to unwind. Hard work is hard, but when you are working hard, every night you can feel the joy of satisfaction. Well everyone is asking… Cambios (transfers) … haha well this cambio is weird. I am opening an area called Inka chaka, The outskirts of the mission. Inka Chaka is closer to Santa Cruz and has a population of 15 people. I will be with a gringo, Elder Dondlee. Inka chaka is a jungle, rains every day five hours and has the worst roads in all of Cochabamba, they don’t exist. And everyone speaks pure cetchua. Well I don’t even know what to think. everyone has been chanting to be Inka chaka inka chaka over and over again. Well, we will see what will happen. Haha thanks for reading kids. Haha Yeah this cambio is a weird cambio because it is 7 weeks not 6. So sorry, you´ll will have to wait tell next week to know my fate. haha This week was what you could call a legendary week for our Stake. Estaca Alamos had a conference on missionary work. The month before we had a special stake conference with a member of the 70, I don’t remember his name. But he made every member promise to work 1 hour with the missionaries. Every month. This week we had a huge conference and talked about how to bring this to pass. The stake created calendars with pictures of all the missionaries, so the members know what day they will work with us. I cant really give it words what exactly they did. But because of this plan the work is hastening really fast. When I first got to Bella vista our zone was the least liked in terms of members working with the missionaries. Today our numbers have skyrocketed and everything has changed. And now with this plan we are expecting even more growth. It will be funny if I leave though, because my picture is on the calendar and I won’t even be there. (So all is well here. I love each one of you. I am grateful for te opportunity to work for teh Lord. I know that all things are possible when we trust in God. I know that Jusus Christ is our Savior and Redeemer, and only through Him can we be saved.)
