General Conference in Tupiza

Well thank you for all the letters I literally finished reading all of them and realized that I only have like 10 minutes. I absolutely loved General Conference, but as I have a lack of time I will not go into any detail. I loved David A. Bednar´s talk, Carl B. Cook, Ronald A. Rasband, the prophets, but most of all K. Bret Natress, and Dale G. Renlund. I am just excited to be able to go back and read them all over again.

This week was interesting because we had to travel to Tupiza to listen to the conference. So I am now in the Warm, Sunny, GREEN, did I mention GREEN Tupiza, a six hour train ride from Uyuni. I think the coolest thing from the week (besides conference) was something that happened today. We were leaving an activity with other missionaries at the chapel and we found a couple that was standing outside of the chapel. Holding hands looking like they were longing to enter. We started talking to them and found out that they are from a place called ATOCHA. Atocha is a town that is part of my area. To get there, 4 Hours in train. 5 or six years ago there were 4 missionaries in Uyuni and one of the companionships proselyted in ATOCHA. They had lots of success and many families were baptized. Later one of the companionships was taken from Uyuni and they were asked to leave Atocha and go to Uyuni. Now no one knows exactly the state of the saints in ATOCHA. Come to find out, they were not members, but all of their extended family and their children were members. They wanted to be baptized, but there has not been missionaries there in forever, they go to family group meeting EVERY WEEK, but cant be baptized. I talked to President to see what we can do. I am praying that He can send missionaries there again, because they need them. Thank you all for everything and I love you all so much.
