Best/Worst Week Ever

I had tons of emails this week so I dont really have time to respond. This week the Internet is a ton faster so I believe you may get to see the potos that I have been talking about sending. So first thing first: 1: The Altitude The altitude has not really been a problem. But it is just amazing how blue the sky is. ANd nothing beats a sunset in Potosi. The weather here is weird. The hottest part of the day is 11 or 10 in the morning. And from there it gets colder. We go out to work every morning dying of heat, then go to the pension. After lunch we leave the Pension and we are freezing cold. I actually prefer the cold to the hot, but what I could live without is the drastic change in temperature throughout the day. 2: The Honey Mask. We do not need to use it right now. Its not cold enough yet. I bought a lotion that I will use instead. As much as it pleases me to spread honey and oatmeal all over my face it doesn't. 3: The Area. We basically have been contacting the past three weeks. We were really excited because our schedule was actually full this week, but as we got out to work, casi (almost) every one of our lessons this first part of the week fell through. We ended up contacting the whole first part of the week, a little un-motivated for the lack of lessons. We just kept praying and praying that we could stay motivated to do our best and have faith. Friday as we were walking away from another closed door, walking out to an open hill to an incredible sunset full of almost every color you can think of. We both stood there, not saying a word. The Spirit testified to the two of us that the Lord is watching out for us and he blesses us when we work hard. It is so important that you focus on the good in life. It is ultimatly our choice to be miserable or to be happy. This week was actually I think my favorite week in the the misión so far. Not soon after the sunset, our week turned around. We ended up having tons of lessons full of the spirit. I love the Scripture in 2 Nefi 2:27 “Adam fell that men might be, men are that they might have joy.” This scripture is used so much, but it is so true. If Adam had not fallen we could never experience joy. After eating of the fruit, Adam and Eve were cast out of the Garden into the lone world. Here they learned about sorrow, pain, and heartache. It is really important that we understand that all of the sorrow, pain and heartache we have, and will have, will be for our good. When we experience pain and suffering we can understand what is confort and joy. The perfect example of pain and suffering is Christ. I can't think of anyone who has had a harder life than Him. But with all of this suffering, think of what he gained. Joy. With all his suffering I also can't think of a better example of someone to have joy than Him. He suffered much throughout his life, suffering for our sins and dying for us. But he had so much joy and happiness too. Because of all His suffering we can repent. He truly understands us and we can truly experience this joy through the Atonement of Christ. Well I am out of time. I love each and every one of you and I am so happy to have you in my lives.
