Another Week in Paradise
Buen Dia Jovenes!! How's everyone doing?!! I loved all the letters I received and tried to respond to all of them, so this letter will be pretty short. This week was pretty cool. Really tiring, but really cool. We have seen a lot of changes in the branch and they are all helping out a lot more. I can't wait to see what comes of our work. The work is hard but fun. Uyuni is really hot, windy, and dry. I have never used so much chap stick in my life. The shower is really the most heavenly place in the world because it is the only place where I can get some humidity. My companion, Elder Caceres, has really had me craving the beaches in Puerto Rico, mostly because he speaks of the moisture. I could really use some of the ¡MOISTURE! (I hope everyone got that) ?? This week was amazing, but I really can't remember it at all at the moment. I'll tell you about it later. I love you all Elder Heaps (Note to mom also sent today):
Mom, I would love some homemade cookies. I have seen other elders receive homemade cookies from home, wrapped in plastic and stuff like that, and you know what: THEY ARE STILL WARM!! Yeah that part's a lie. Also the soles of my brown shoes are falling apart and the heel has holes in it. Is there any way you can get them to send others. I was given some black shoes from a dying elder because the black ones I chose before make my hip hurt if I use them everyday. I can send you some pictures of them if you need me to.
