Christmas Fever and Ponchos

Ole! Only hay (there are only) 21 Days till Christmas!!! Christmas decorations are up, and the Christmas hymns are on. Another Cambio has come and gone, and I will be staying for Christmas in Uyuni. Every year the Branch has a tradition where one of the missionaries dresses as Santa, and with the branch go to all the houses they can and invite people to an activity. This year we are changing things up. My comp will be Santa and I will be the Grinch, so watch out!! We have been working really hard and have found several families who have many desires to be baptized. Uyuni has turned into a Giant Oven during the day. If I don't drink a little water every 2 minutes I feel like I might shrivel up into a little raisin. Besides this I really love Uyuni. Uyuni Manta!! I started contacting in Quechua (the language, not a place). It makes for lots of laughs when I make a fool of myself stumbling over the language. We also bought ponchos, to use in the night when it gets cold. This Christmas season spend your time lighting the world, and you will find a new light within yourselves.
