A Change in the Weather
Cobija is taking a while to get used to. Running water, elevators, its GREEN!! All of my areas have been in the country or outskirts of cities. This one is the heart of the city. Before coming here I had not entered into an elevator in over a year. Now the only way to get to everywhere is through elevator. Its beautiful and tall. Almost all of the members live in skyscrapers. We moved a family this week to the 10th floor of an apartment building. My exercise for a week!!! Cobija is a big change in the weather for me, Its sunny and beautiful, and green in comparison to Uyuni.
I love this quote that I found in a public bathroom. I felt a little weird running back into the bathroom with my camera to take this picture haha, but who cares. It says, "Forgive and Forget... Listen, Understand, and Learn Appreciate and be thankful Imagine and believe Love yourself and fall in love Talk less and give more Just smile." Really, I have no idea why this would be in a bathroom, but its a nice quote. Its something we should all do. Being with Elder Padilla has been great!! I was his companion when he got 6 months in the mission, and now when1 he finished a year. It was also his birthday. Se que El Libro de Mormon es verdadero y que José Smith es un profeta de Dios. Lo mas que leo y enseño llega a ser mas cierto para me. Si alguien quiere mejorar su relación con Dios, solo tiene que vivir los mandamientos, leer las escrituras, y preparar y participar de la santa cena cada semana. Te Amo
